The Greater Lansing Business Monthly’s annual Greater Lansing Business Showcase on Oct. 25 at the Lansing Center is going high-tech to help local business people get connected.
For the first time, the trade show and networking event will feature the “On Target Cyber Café,” which will provide laptop computers equipped with high-speed Internet connections, courtesy of Arialink Broadband and the Lansing Center. Exhibitors and attendees can attend complimentary “cyber-talks” given by area experts, highlighting topics such as VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), secure Web communications and Web site management.
The Business Showcase, in its third year, offers a unique marketing opportunity to reinforce current business relationships and build new partnerships, says Chris Holman, publisher of The Greater Lansing Business Monthly.
“We are committed to maintaining a thriving business climate,” Holman says. “The Business Showcase sparks connections essential for Lansing to flourish.”
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. and ends with a networking social from 4-5 p.m. Gov. Jennifer Granholm has been invited to speak at the Networking Luncheon, beginning at 11:45 a.m. Tickets for the luncheon must be reserved by calling 517-487-1714.
Published monthly since 1987, The Greater Lansing Business Monthly serves the tri-county region with news and features about local business and through special events supporting the area business community.
